For over 50 years Independence Australia has been supporting people with a disability or other physical need to enable them to achieve independence and attain a better quality of life. Independence Australia relies on the generosity of the community and supporters to help fund a broad range of vital services that make a real difference to people living with a disability.

Some of the services Independence Australia provides include:

Attendant care: in-home help needed to allow individuals to remain living in their own homes.
Counselling: to help individuals and their families cope with the many challenges they face.
Respite: allows family members caring for someone with a disability the opportunity to take time for themselves.
Recreation: provides people with a disability greater opportunity for social inclusion and a release through creative expression.
Case management: to help individuals and their families navigate the complex channels for support and assistance.
